Consideration of the Communications Opportunity, Promotion, and Enhancement Act of 2006
This legislation is the main effort in the House of Representatives to update the Telecommunications Act of 1996. It could have several technology-related amendments including on one “Net Neutrality.” It is currently scheduled for Friday, but rumors are that the vote might slip to next week.
